President and Chief Operating Officer, Americas

John Snyder oversees all travel management operations in North America and South America, including fulfillment services, strategic operations, information technology, telecom and the BCD Travel affiliates program.

John began his career at BCD Travel in 1992 in sales and marketing and quickly moved into an operational role in 1993. In 1994, he became president of our Southeast Division.  While serving in this role, the Southeast Division grew from $120 million in sales to more than $700 million, and profits grew 10-fold during the same period.  John became the chief operating officer in May of 2000.

Prior to joining BCD Travel, John served as national sales manager at First Bank Systems (now U.S. Bank) in the Commercial Credit Card Division. He was part of the original team who launched the first-ever VISA-branded Corporate Card Program.

John received his MBA in marketing from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
